The photographs in this album were taken during an afternoon that we spent with some Uros families living on the Uros Islands - a group of about 40 floating islands in the northern section of Lake Titicaca near Puno, Peru, at an elevation of 12,500 feet. The reason that the bridal party are not looking at the camera in some of the photos is that they were posing for the official photographer, and I was taking these photos alongside her.
