Inside the Saigon Opera House
The Vietnamese Bamboo Circus has performed all over the world but I've never been in the right place at the right time to catch a performance. I rectified that tonight at the Saigon Opera House in Ho Chi Minh City. I've walked past the opera house dozens of times over the years but never been inside (because it's not open to the public unless you are attending a performance). Photographs are not permitted during performances but I got a shot of the inside during a quick pre-performance visit.

The Vietnamese Bamboo Circus tells the story of the culture of Vietnam from old times to the modern day through dance and acrobatic performances, live music (traditional and modern) and songs. It's worth a look if you get the chance.
